Sales Kickoffs & Team Celebrations

Short, high-intensity programs where every hour counts — planned so the agenda lands and the celebration actually feels like one.

Overview

What this program looks like

Kickoffs are the least forgiving program type we run. There is no buffer day. If transfers slip or the general session room is set wrong, it comes out of content time that the entire fiscal year depends on.

We plan kickoffs around the run of show. Room sets, AV, break timing, and meal service are scheduled to the agenda block, and arrival transfers are sequenced so the opening session starts with the room full.

Then we build the celebration side properly — a team activity that actually mixes regions, and an evening event that reads as a reward rather than an obligation.

Energized team celebrating at a sales kickoff general session

Who books this

CRO, VP of Revenue, or Chief of Staff planning an annual kickoff or milestone celebration

The fiscal year starts in six weeks, the whole revenue org is flying in, and you have roughly 48 hours to set the number, launch the messaging, and send people home energized.

What's on your plate today

  • A compressed agenda with no room for logistics slippage
  • High-energy general session space plus a real celebration venue
  • Arrivals compressed into a narrow window
  • Executive visibility on every part of the program

What changes when we run it

  • An agenda that runs on time without your team policing it
  • Team-building and celebration built in, not bolted on
  • Transfers timed to a tight arrival window
  • One invoice, one owner, one post-event reconciliation

Sample program

A typical run of show

Every program is built around your agenda. This is the shape most sales kickoffs & team celebrations take.

  1. Day 1

    Compressed arrivals and opening night

Sequenced transfers across a tight arrival window, pre-assigned check-in, and an opening reception with the year's theme launch.

  2. Day 2

    Full-day general session

Number, strategy, and enablement content with full AV and staged breaks, then a team-building activity built for cross-region mixing.

  3. Day 3

    Enablement tracks and celebration night

Morning breakout tracks by segment, an afternoon group excursion, and a celebration dinner with recognition moments.

  4. Day 4

    Closing rally and departures

Short closing rally, then departure transfers staged by flight time with luggage hold for late flights.

January–February kickoff weeks go fast

Kickoff season is a fixed window and everyone books it at once

January and February kickoff dates compete with every other company's fiscal-year start. The resorts with real general session space commit those weeks early.

Everyone wants the same two months

Fiscal-year kickoffs cluster into a narrow calendar window. Demand for general session space in that window is the highest of the year.

Short programs need perfect flight access

A three-night program only works with the right nonstops. Those seats and group air rates get expensive fast inside four months.

Celebration venues are one-per-night

Private beach clubs and buyout venues take one group per evening. Your closing night depends on booking before someone else does.

Content time is the real cost

Late planning forces compromises on room sets and transfer timing, and those compromises come directly out of your agenda.

Funding milestone celebration

58 attendees · Bahamas · 3 nights

A company celebrating a Series B wanted a short, high-impact trip with minimal formal programming and a memorable closing night.

Questions

Before you request a proposal

How short can a kickoff be?

Three nights is our practical floor for an offshore program. From much of the East Coast, the Bahamas and Puerto Rico make that comfortable.

Can you handle team-building activities?

Yes — we source and manage group activities, excursions, and facilitators as part of the program.

What if our agenda is not final?

We contract space against a planning agenda and lock room sets roughly eight weeks out, which is normal for kickoffs.
